Frequently asked questions
“Can we come look around the property?”
No.
This is a PRIVATE RESIDENCE and stable.
We have had problems with trespassers in the past and will take any necessary precautions to keep our family and animals safe.
If the gate is open it is NOT an invitation to come in.
There are cameras at the gate, in and around all buildings and along the fence line.
“Do you offer beginner lessons?”
No.
We do not have, or plan to have, school horses.
“Do you offer children’s lessons?”
If you have a child who already has a pony and are looking for boarding, we will happily accommodate.
It is worth noting that this is primarily a facility for adults so there are not many children here, if the social aspect of riding is what you are in the market for.
If your child is looking to further themselves in the sport we are happy to help.
“Can my kids come see the animals?”
No.
We are a boarding facility and private equestrian property. We are not a petting zoo. Meaning all horses are owned by private owners. We do not allow anyone but boarders and their guests on the property.
Tweetsie railroad is a good option if this is the kind of thing you’re looking for.
“Do you rent horses?”
No.
Horses are not bicycles or cars, they are living animals that take people years to learn the basics of. We take our sport seriously and renting horses to untrained persons goes against our philosophy.
“Do you do trail rides?”
No.
Please see above.
